Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for a Senior Sales Administrator to provide sales admin and support to a busy sales and marketing office based in Altrincham. This is a full time, office-based role with a basic of £25-30K + bonus paid twice a year.


They have a great culture and there is lots of scope for development and promotion. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and experienced Sales Administrator to work with this growing sports sector.


Working in a small but established sales and marketing team, you will support 4 field Sales Reps, 5 in house Sales Account Managers, the Marketing Manager and support the Sales Director. Due to their year on year growth, this opportunity is a new role and there is a real opportunity for someone to own the role and make a real impact on the business. There will be sector specific training and there is a genuine opportunity for career development.


The Senior Sales Administrator role: -

  • Managing day to day operations of Sales office activities and the internal Sales Team.
  • Pivotal communication bridge between the Customer Service Hub & Sales/marketing Dept.
  • Addressing all incoming Sales related topics into the general orders@ inbox.
  • Analysing sales reports to give headline data in order to boost sales and create opportunities.
  • Liaise with our internal transport department to ensure timely deliveries for key customers.
  • Working closely with the Sales Director with key customer at all levels.
  • Existing customer research and development.
  • Sales office liaison for 4 Field Sales representatives.
  • Managing incoming sales calls and addressing general customer enq’s/ filter calls.
  • Assist with backorder reporting and communicating supplier delivery information.
  • Maintaining and updating prospect and customer databases/acc set up/acc segmentation.
  • Raising CRM task activity and managing day to day governance of Sales Team CRM entries.
  • Attending, preparing and follow ups for exhibitions.
  • Web/portal chat
  • Customer meetings internally, occasionally joint meetings externally
  • Assist with ongoing development and growth of the Sales and Marketing Dept.
  • PA to Sales Director.


Experience Required for the Senior Sales Administrator:

  • Energy, personality and a positive work ethic are the most important!
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a busy sales office.
  • Experience producing sales reports and   supporting sales reps
  • You must be self-motivated, professional and well presented, being capable of turning prospective new leads into customers
