Focus 5 Recruitment is looking to recruit a Product Marketing Manager to join our client, a disruptive tech start-up based in Manchester City Centre. You’ll work with an award-winning marketing team, pushing a game-changing SaaS product to market. This is a brand-new role with a huge opportunity to make a difference and see the impact of your efforts.

 

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging for the client’s tech solutions
  • Own the Go-To-Market strategy and communication plans with customers and prospects in the UK and US
  • Manage the client’s Customer Hub - assisting with e-learning content for Customer Success and the development of the customer e-learning portal.
  • Create product collateral, ensuring that all messaging regarding the product is accurate and compelling
  • Interpret market research and apply relevant findings to the development process and product roadmap to impact product features, user experience, naming, and packages/pricing.
  • Work closely with the product team on content creation specifically about the product, including web page content, videos, blog posts, slide decks, battlecards etc.
  • Competitor product (and brand) analysis.
  • Work with the wider marketing team to ensure product benefits are communicated effectively to our target audience across email, social media, website content etc.

 

To be considered for the Product Marketing Manager role:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B product marketing role, ideally within a scaling SaaS / tech business
  • Experience in creating and delivering successful GTM product strategies
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Experience with data and market analysis
  • Experience of working with B2B sales teams to build relationships and capture requirements, as well as technical teams    
  • Flexible and readily adaptable - able to quickly shift priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and ideally Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic video editing (for product demo walkthroughs) experience would be a plus
