Job Description

This is an amazing opportunity to manage one of the UK’s fastest-growing pages. We are looking for someone who can head up a new team for a really exciting page and manage the day to day output of videos and content. The ideal candidate will be efficient in video editing and social media management. You’ll be able to easily identify viral videos and edit high-quality content to be posted in a timely, efficient manner. This role will by a hybrid editing role in which you will split your time between It’s Gone Viral and The Tradesman.

 

Objectives of this Role

- Uploading and posting regular content to Facebook

- Using YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and news sources to find viral and relevant content that will appeal to the audiences of It’s Gone Viral and The Tradesman

- Editing videos of different lengths to make compelling stories and narratives.

- Working to targets set by the manager to increase productivity and output.

- Assisting with the page schedule

 

Necessary skills

- 2+ years of video editing

- Experience of publishing video content to Facebook

 

Beneficial skills

- Experience working in construction or other similar industries
